Caribou Capital is particularly focused on SME business acquisitions where the owners are seeking to reduce their current operational roles and exit smoothly with confidence.

We aim to distinguish ourselves from trade buyers and pure financial buyers in our approach. We focus on preservation of the seller’s legacy and the development of the existing staff.

What we look for in acquisitions

Business fundamentals

Established and profitable companies with between £500k to £10m in stable revenues and a solid track record. What is important is that we can see growth opportunites in the business and the sector.

Sectors

We are interested in a range of sectors across B2C (travel, leisure & education) and B2B (media, engineering, manufacturing, distribution & landscaping/facilities management).

Our value add

It is important that we feel we can bring added value to the business – either through our operational experience, strategic re-direction or ability to add growth and enter new markets.

Location

Our main focus is London and Southern England. For the right business though, we will consider wider UK locations as well as international opportunities.
